November 2025 SNAP benefits will be delayed: What you need to know
While the shutdown continues, USDA has stated that they will not continue to fund SNAP benefits beyond November 1. Starting November 1, households will see a disruption in their monthly SNAP benefit amount.
When will I receive my SNAP benefits each month?
Once you are approved, you should receive your SNAP benefits on the same date each month. This date is based on the last digit of your Social Security Number, as follows.
Last Digit of SSN = Day of Month
- 0 = 1st of Month
- 1 = 2nd of Month
- 2 = 4th of Month
- 3 = 5th of Month
- 4 = 7th of Month
- 5 = 8th of Month
- 6 = 10th of Month
- 7 = 11th of Month
- 8 = 13th of Month
- 9 = 14th of Month
